As Managing Director Services at Praetorian, Juan leads a team of exceptional security engineers with a maniacal focus on client satisfaction. With over 20 years of hands-on technical and servant leadership experience, Juan is passionate about serving and further developing the Praetorian team to deliver on our company values – solving the cybersecurity problem for our clients and pushing the industry toward a more secure world.
Prior to joining Praetorian, Juan was the Director, Consulting Solutions at Cylance. In this role, he was responsible for the Middle East region solutioning and consulting sales. Before joining Cylance, Juan was the Executive Director – Cyber Training Academy at DarkMatter where he led the team responsible for designing, developing, and launching a National Cyber Academy in the UAE. Earlier in his career, Juan has held a variety of Cyber roles including: kernel research, software QA, enterprise development, security consulting & training. He is a proud alumnus of Foundstone, having served for over 10 years.
Juan earned a BA in Psychology and an MS in Computer Science from the George Washington University, and an associate’s degree in Software Engineering from Cenfotec. Outside of work, he’s happiest spending time (and traveling) with his wife Kristen and daughter Maya; running; and playing the piano, a recent discovery.
