Cam McMartin joined Praetorian’s board of directors in early 2020, bringing proven experience in scaling businesses.
Prior to joining the Praetorian board of directors, Mr. McMartin served as SailPoint’s Chief Operating Officer from May 2019 to December 2019 and as its Chief Financial Officer from 2011 to May 2019. At SailPoint he drove growth from a financial as well as from an operational standpoint. During his tenure, SailPoint completed a $1 billion IPO in 2017 and reached its current valuation of more than $2.2 billion.
At the end of 2019, McMartin left SailPoint’s executive leadership team and joined its board of directors. Mr. McMartin also serves as a member of its cybersecurity committee since January 2020.
Before SailPoint, McMartin served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for CenterPoint Ventures, a $425 million venture capital group. Prior to CenterPoint Ventures, McMartin held senior financial management positions with several corporations, including Chief Financial Officer at Convex Computer (NYSE: CNX) and Senior VP, Operations at Dazel.
Mr. McMartin holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Trinity University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
